Golden Hour, Sobha Hartland

A self-initiated concept for a one-bedroom apartment in Sobha Hartland, Dubai, imagined as a short-stay rental: a blank developer unit turned into a place guests remember.

Interior design built around one material gesture, full-height plywood joinery running from the kitchen to the living room and framing a desk niche lined with floral wallpaper. Chocolate upholstery, burgundy wardrobe doors and black stone ground the palette, while cream, orange and cobalt accents and mid-century pieces keep it playful. The result is a warm, lived-in apartment designed to catch Dubai’s low afternoon light, from the bedroom to the balcony.
